Masivní ovládnutí světa systémem digitální fotografie je fakt. Různé plastové krabičky, které hrdí potomci samurajů pěchují zdánlivě jednoduchými elektronickými součástkami, vyprazdňují postupně temné komory a ženou národy kazit si zrak před monitory počítačů.
Filmové zrno, které fotografiím dává hloubku a vášeň, dnes sice nikoho příliš neoslovuje, nicméně jeho fatální nepřítomnost (ve světě digitální fotografie) vede tento systém do slepé uličky.
Přesto se najdou tací, kteří si vypěstovali závislost na vůních chemikálií pozitivních a negativních procesů, kteří nikdy nevymění tchajwanský čip za halogenidy stříbra, kteří budou pořád dokola bránit snahu o výtvarnou fotografii i s autorskými nedostatky před zdánlivě technicky dokonalým snímkem čehokoli.
Mou snahou je být jedním z nich.

The digital photography has conquered the world. That´s a fact. Various plastic boxes, that the proud descendants of samurai stuff with seemingly simple electronic components these days, are gradually emptying the darkrooms and forcing whole nations to spoil their eye-sight in front of computer screens.
In addition to that, it is the film grain, giving photography depth and passion, whose fatal absence seems not to bother anybody much nowadays, even though it is the very lack of it leading the whole digital system to an end.
In spite of this, there are some people, who have become addicted to the smell of chemicals used in positive and negative processing and who will never trade silver halides for a chip made in Tchaiwan. People like that will always be around to defend the efforts in making artistic photography, despite the various author marks shown in certain imperfection, against seemingly technically excellent snapshots of whatever.
My aim is to become one of them.
